Dual Plush works on a simple logic: weight first, preference second. The system starts with Dunlop firmness regulations based on body weight. These define the correct support mattress firmness. The topper then adds the comfort surface regulation on top.

Why Two Firmness Levels and Not More

Botanic Dual Plush uses two firmness levels — one for the organic latex mattress, one for the organic latex topper. This is a deliberate engineering decision, not a limitation. We do not use three layers, and we do not stack random combinations that are common in the market.

The goal is precision. The organic latex mattress carries the main support firmness, calibrated to body weight through Dunlop firmness regulations. The organic latex topper adds the comfort and adaptation regulation on top. The result is a controlled, individual balance between orthopaedic support and anatomical adaptation.

Orthopaedic Support Comes from the Mattress

The mattress base provides stable skeletal support. Its high-density Dunlop latex is the bearing structure that holds posture and spine alignment. High density gives latex its support. The mattress is where orthopaedic stability originates — it is the foundation that cannot be compromised.

Anatomical Adaptation Comes from the Topper

High elasticity gives latex its adaptation. The topper adds softness that follows the body contours, relieving pressure on shoulders, hips and joints. Where the mattress bears the load, the topper shapes the surface to your form. The topper does not cancel the support underneath — it complements it.

Because the topper is not glued to the mattress, air flows freely through horizontal and vertical channels between the layers, keeping the sleep microclimate dry, fresh and temperature-neutral.

How the Zone System Works

The 7-zone map is achieved through controlled perforation — varying the size and density of holes across the latex core. Where perforations are larger or more dense, the latex yields more. Where they are smaller or fewer, it resists more. No different materials, no gluing, no layering — just one latex core, engineered with precision.

When the pelvis and lumbar receive strong, calibrated support while the shoulders and head receive softer resistance, the spine maintains its natural curve. There is no collapse at the pelvis, no pressure building at the shoulder — the result is a gentle, natural alignment that reduces tension in the lower back and neck during sleep.

The softer shoulder and head zones allow the body's heaviest protruding points to settle without pushing back.
