Firmness Fine-Tuning Based on Your Body & Sleep Profile
This is the core starting reference for your natural latex sleep direction.
It is important to know that our firmness variations are not just about softness or hardness. They are designed to regulate adaptation and support in balance between orthopaedic support and anatomical comfort.
Firmness Is Not a Word - It Is the Regulation of Adaptation and Support
If You Are Still Unsure
This is the system we follow.
We do not sell firmness as a word.
We regulate adaptation and support.
Do not start from the words Soft, Medium or Firm as a feeling. Start from the regulation.
Once the right mattress has been chosen, the next steps become much easier. And when more freedom and finer refinement are needed, we also have solutions such as Dual Plush, where a latex topper with a different but close firmness upgrades the comfort without damaging the correct support or the engineering logic.

Firmnesses & Comfort
ANATOMICAL-ORTHOPAEDIC Comfort
Please note that latex foam, compared to polyurethane and memory foam, offers orthopaedic comfort- firmer and more supportive - due to its higher DENSITY . Latex foam also boasts another significant feature: ELASTICITY . It has the highest elasticity of all foams. The magic of latex foam lies in its dual capabilities: it provides SUPPORT with one hand and ADAPTABILITY with the other, thanks to its exceptional elasticity. Thus, these factors unequivocally contribute to latex foam delivering ANATOMICAL-ORTHOPAEDIC Comfort in a mattress or topper. Understanding Dunlop Firmness Dunlop Firmness Selection System: Simple and Logical Dunlop have developed a system that makes selecting the right firmness easy and logical. Their system, known as Firmness Dependent on Body Proportions (FDPB), is based on the relationship between your body weight and the ideal mattress firmness. The rule is simple: the greater your body weight, the firmer the mattress you need for proper support. The Dunlop Firmness Regulation System (FDPB) guarantees anatomical comfort by taking the guesswork out of your mattress selection Choosing the right firmness with Dunlop technology is straightforward. There’s no need to worry about selecting your firmness as it’s regulated according to your weight, much like how clothing sizes work. This is a significant advantage of the Dunlop technology, ensuring your choice is well-suited to your needs. Our Four Levels of Firmness: • Soft (S): Density of 63 kg per cubic metre, suitable for individuals weighing up to 47 kg. 7.4 st. • Medium (M): Density of 75 kg per cubic metre, the standard firmness, suitable for individuals between 47- 88 kg.7.4-13.9 st. • Firm (F): Density of 83 kg per cubic metre, recommended for individuals weighing between 88-120 kg. 13.9 - 18.9 st. • Extra Firm (EF): Density of 83 kg per cubic metre, with two additional Coconut Coir layers, recommended for individuals weighing over 120 kg. 18.9 st. We offer mattress and topper models with combined DUAL firmness. This option reinforces your mattress with an additional layer of latex foam, helping you avoid the dilemma of choosing between different firmness levels. Mixing close firmness levels enhances the mattress’s comfort and provides security, as you can always flip your mattress to the firmness that suits you best.

DUAL PLUSH - ENGINEERED REGULATION SYSTEM
DUAL PLUSH – ENGINEERED REGULATION SYSTEM
Dual Plush works on a simple logic: weight first, preference second.
The system starts with 4 Dunlop firmness regulations. These are engineering load categories based on body weight. They define the correct mattress firmness. From there, preference determines which engineered direction is applied, without leaving the regulation.
Firmness regulations by body weight
• Soft – up to 47 kg
• Medium – 47–88 kg
• Firm – 88–120 kg
• Extra Firm – over 120 kg
Engineering principle
Mattress = structural foundation
Topper = comfort surface regulator
⸻
ENGINEERED EXAMPLES
This is how the system works in real life. Same weight. Different preference. Still inside regulation.
EXAMPLE 1 – 75 KG
Regulation → Medium (47–88 kg)
Inside this regulation, two possible directions exist.
1.1 – 75 KG, WANTS MORE COMFORT
Mattress → Medium
Topper → Soft
• Softer comfort surface
• Increased anatomical adaptation
• Correct structural stability
1.2 – 75 KG, WANTS MORE SUPPORT
Mattress → Firm
Topper → Medium
• Stronger structural resistance
• Controlled comfort surface
• More orthopaedic stability
Same weight.
Different preference.
Still inside regulation.
EXAMPLE 2 – 93 KG
Regulation → Firm (88–120 kg)
Again, two possible directions exist.
2.1 – 93 KG, WANTS MORE ADAPTATION
Mattress → Firm
Topper → Medium
• Correct load support
• Softer comfort surface compared to full Firm
• Balanced anatomical feel
2.2 – 93 KG, WANTS MAXIMUM SUPPORT
Mattress → Extra Firm
Topper → Firm
• Maximum structural resistance
• Firm comfort surface
• Minimal compression
• Strong orthopaedic stability
⸻
THE THREE ENGINEERED MIXES
From the examples above, the system becomes clear.
There are only three calibrated configurations. This is why the selection is secure.
LIGHT MIX
(under 70 kg → Mattress Medium + Topper Soft)
Creates a softer comfort surface while maintaining correct structure.
SAFE MIX
(70–95 kg → Mattress Firm + Topper Medium)
Creates balanced structural control with a regulated comfort surface.
POWER MIX
(over 95 kg → Mattress Extra Firm + Topper Firm)
Creates maximum structural resistance and orthopaedic stability.
⸻
IMPORTANT
We do not create unlimited combinations.
We do not mix Soft with Extra Firm.
We do not stack contradictory thin layers.
Every configuration follows:
Weight regulation first
Engineered Mix second
Only three controlled mixes exist.

How to Choose the Right Mattress Firmness?
Many people with back pain or recovering from surgery believe they need a hard mattress to get proper support. But this isn’t entirely true. The key is not whether a mattress is hard or soft, but whether it’s right for your body and needs.
Why a Hard Mattress Isn’t Always the Best Choice?
A mattress that’s too firm can:
✔ Put too much pressure on sensitive areas.
✔ Misalign your spine, leading to further discomfort.
✔ Increase muscle tension, making pain worse.
On the other hand, a mattress that’s too soft won’t provide enough support, which can also cause discomfort and poor sleep quality.
Our Approach: Dual Comfort for Maximum Support & Care
Instead of choosing between hard or soft, Divine DunlopDreams offers a tailor-made solution – our Dual Comfort mattresses, designed to provide:
✔ A supportive base layer – matched to your body weight and proportions.
✔ A softer top layer – to reduce pressure on sensitive areas and provide a gentle feel.
Our BOTANIC DUAL and BIO COMFORT DUAL models combine these two layers to deliver the perfect balance of firmness and adaptability, ensuring maximum spinal alignment and comfort.
Example:
If your body needs a Firm mattress, we recommend:
Base layer: FIRM – for correct spinal support. Top layer: MEDIUM – to ensure better comfort for sensitive areas.
With BOTANIC DUAL and BIO COMFORT DUAL, you get both support and relief, allowing your body to rest naturally while reducing pressure on the spine.
Why is Latex the Best Choice?
Our 100% natural latex mattresses offer:
✔ Twice the density of standard materials, ensuring built-in support.
✔ 7-zone support system for perfect spinal alignment.
✔ Adaptability without sinking – latex distributes weight evenly, reducing pressure on key areas.
For Those Who Prefer a Firm Orthopaedic Mattress
We understand that some customers specifically look for a firm orthopaedic mattress, which is why we offer COCONUT Coir – our firmest model with orthopaedic support. This mattress is designed for those who need extra firmness and structured support.
However, choosing COCONUT Coir should be based on your personal orthopaedic needs, as ultra-firm mattresses are not suitable for everyone.
How Do We Ensure You Make the Right Choice?
All our firmness levels (Soft, Medium, Firm, Extra Firm) are based on real body proportions, not marketing labels. When you choose the right firmness for your body, your choice is guaranteed to be correct.
