BIO SUPPORT -100% Organic Latex Topper
BIO SUPPORT is an organic latex topper designed to upgrade any mattress – from a basic spring model to a high-end latex core. It uses the same 7-zone Dunlop concept as our mattresses, but in a thinner and more flexible format that builds on your existing bed and creates a clearly noticeable plush feel on the surface.
Key highlights
BIO SUPPORT adds an even, elastic comfort layer that smooths out irregularities and removes the feeling of springs, seams or hard spots. The topper keeps your body more on the surface instead of letting you sink deeply. This helps you turn easily during the night, without fighting the mattress and without extra tension in shoulders or lower back.
When you lie down, the feeling is different from what you sense when you press with your hand or sit on one spot. Your body weight is spread across the seven zones, the spine rests in a calmer position and pressure in sensitive areas is reduced. This is where the plush feeling comes from – a soft touch at the surface with stable support underneath.
As with our mattresses, every BIO SUPPORT topper comes with 2 bonus Classic latex pillows 40×60×14 cm. This gives you a complete natural latex sleep system – base mattress, topper for fine-tuning comfort, and latex pillows for better neck and shoulder alignment.
It is important to distinguish between real latex foam production and pure marketing claims. There is no latex foam production in the UK at the moment. The real latex foam factories are in Germany, Belgium and Italy. We see more and more vague statements suggesting that latex is produced in other countries, which does not match the technical reality.
Cutting, gluing, upholstering and adding covers to ready-made latex blocks is one thing. Producing the latex foam itself is something else. Latex foam production is the most complex and most expensive process among all foam types. It requires specialised equipment, engineering teams and tightly controlled production lines.
Another key point: one and the same factory cannot produce both Dunlop and Talalay latex on a single production line. These are completely different technologies, with different machines and different process logic. Claims such as “our factory produces both Dunlop and Talalay” are technically impossible in one line and should be treated as a sales trick, not a fact.
When you compare latex products, remember that at the base we are talking about the same latex milk and comparable densities. The difference comes from the execution technology, the quality of process control and the honesty of the information. Our latex is made with 100% EU certified production and fully traceable origin – this is why we emphasise it clearly.
Benefits:

BIO SUPPORT follows the same engineering logic as our latex mattresses, but in topper form. Your choice of firmness and height depends on two things: your body weight and the character of your current mattress – whether it feels firm, soft, tired or simply “OK” but you want to upgrade it.
Available firmness levels
Available heights
The right firmness for a topper is always a combination of: 1) your body weight and 2) how your current mattress feels today.
If the mattress is already soft, the goal of the topper is to add stability and control – in that case Medium or Firm are better. If the mattress is hard and you feel pressure in shoulders or lower back, Soft or Medium will reduce pressure and add comfort.
Think of the topper as a correction layer: it can soften a hard base, stabilise a very soft base, and smooth out irregularities to bring the bed back into balance.
Height determines how strongly the topper will influence the final feel of your bed. The higher the topper, the more it “takes over” from the base mattress.
A topper cannot fully replace a high-quality mattress, but a BIO SUPPORT topper in 10–14 cm can noticeably improve support, comfort and weight distribution on almost any bed.
A few real-life scenarios to help you decide:
If you are between two options, choose the height based on how much you want to change the feel: for a light adjustment, stay at 8–10 cm; for a clearly noticeable transformation and a more luxurious feel, go to 12–14 cm.
BIO SUPPORT works as an anatomical and orthopaedic synchroniser between your body and the mattress. It does not only change how the surface feels – it changes how your body weight is distributed across the bed.
The result is not “softness at any cost”, but a clear balance between anatomical adaptation and orthopaedic support.
The topper takes the first contact with your body. When you lie down, the latex:
This means fewer “hot spots” of pressure and less need to twist and turn in search of a comfortable position. In side sleeping, BIO SUPPORT lets the shoulder go deeper into the material so you do not climb up towards your neck, and the pillow can keep the head–neck–spine line more vertical and relaxed.
On your back, the topper keeps the pelvis under control so it does not drop down and overload the lower back.
Important: a latex topper cannot be judged correctly when you:
These are high-pressure, unrealistic scenarios that have nothing to do with how it behaves when you are lying down and your weight is spread out.
The real work of BIO SUPPORT is felt when you lie on your back and feel how the lower back calms down, when you lie on your side and the shoulder goes into the material without pushing you up, and when, after a few nights, you notice that you wake up less tired and less stiff.
Do not judge the topper by the first five seconds of pressing it – judge it by how you feel in the morning.
BIO SUPPORT is especially helpful if you have sensitivity or tension in:
The seven-zone structure is designed so that the shoulder zone is more accepting, the lumbar zone is more supportive, and the leg zone is balanced and stable.
This creates the feeling of an ergonomically balanced sleep system: your body does not fight the mattress – they work together.
BIO SUPPORT is made from natural latex – a rubber foam derived from the milk of the rubber tree. This is not a random “foam”, but a material with clear physical properties: high density, elasticity, stability and controlled sinking.
Natural latex is a material built for weight and elasticity, which makes it ideal for a topper that has to carry your body night after night.
BIO SUPPORT is an open system – natural latex with ventilation channels and a breathable cover. The goal is simple: no trapped moisture, no suffocating heat and a cleaner sleep environment on top of your existing mattress.
The internal air channels and open-cell latex structure:
A topper is also easier to air and handle than a full mattress – you can remove it, turn it and refresh the whole bed far more easily.
BIO SUPPORT uses a combination of:
When you lie down, your body gently compresses the latex and creates a natural “pumping” of air through the material. This helps:
The topper performs best on a base that also allows airflow – a slatted frame, perforated base or a bed with good room ventilation.
Natural latex is more resistant to moisture and mould than standard foams when used in a normal home environment and aired properly. BIO SUPPORT contributes to a cleaner sleep environment because:
With regular airing of the bedroom and normal humidity levels, the topper keeps a drier and more stable internal climate, which is important for people with sensitive airways or allergies.
The BIO SUPPORT cover comes with a zip, which means you can:
Practical care tips:
The combination of breathing latex, ventilation channels and a removable cover makes BIO SUPPORT a stable base for a cleaner, better-ventilated sleep environment – without replacing your entire mattress.
BIO SUPPORT is not just a flat slab of latex. Inside, the core has a defined 7-zone geometry that changes how your body lies and how it is supported. Different parts of the body have different weight and different support needs – this is why the zones are not identical.
The result is a more even distribution of body weight and less tension concentrated in one or two painful spots.
The seven zones are arranged from head to toe:
You do not see this zoning when the bed is made, but you feel it when you lie down and your body “finds its place” on the topper.
When the seven zones work together, you get a light stretching effect along the spine:
It does not feel like something is pulling you – it feels more like lying on a calmer, more even geometry that lets you relax without collapsing. BIO SUPPORT synchronises the shape of your body with the mattress, so the body does not fight against a hard or chaotic base.
Side sleeping
The shoulder goes deeper into the shoulder zone, while the lower back is not left hanging and the pelvis is supported. This reduces twisting in the spine and tension in the upper back.
Back sleeping
The pelvis and lumbar area sit in the more supportive zones, so you do not sink in the middle. This helps to avoid an exaggerated curve in the lower back and reduces fatigue in the lumbar region.
Changing positions during the night
Latex and the 7-zone geometry work together. When you turn, your body naturally falls into the right zones without feeling edges, gaps or hard transitions. The surface stays continuous, but the support under each part of the body is optimised for its role and weight.

BIO SUPPORT is not only about the latex core. A large part of what you feel comes from the cover – the fabric, the light padding and the way the surface breathes. All covers come with a zip, are washable up to 40°C and include a cotton wadding layer (around 2 cm) that adds extra comfort and a gentle plush feel on top.
All cover options:
Important: if the topper is 10 cm, the latex core is around 8 cm plus roughly 2 cm of cover. The same logic applies to the other heights.
1) 100% Natural Cotton
The most breathable and “dry” feeling option. Ideal if you tend to sleep warm. The surface feels firm, clean and natural to the touch, with a very direct connection to the latex underneath.
2) Dual-sided: Cotton + Wool
Top side: 100% cotton. Reverse side: 100% natural wool for extra insulation. A great choice for cooler bedrooms and colder seasons. The wool side offers a warmer “winter” feel without heavy overheating, while the cotton side keeps things fresher in milder weather.
3) Aloe Vera + Cotton + Viscose
The most elastic and “hugging” cover. It feels softer, with a more pronounced plush effect. Aloe vera and viscose bring a gentle feeling of freshness and added comfort, while still allowing the latex to work in depth.
4) Cashmere + Silver Ions
The most luxurious option. Very light, elastic and soft to the touch. Silver ions give a clear, bright look to the fabric and help reduce static build-up. The overall feel is of a fine, premium textile with a very smooth contact against the body.
All covers include an inner cotton wadding layer that softens the first contact with the surface without cancelling the support and control coming from the latex core.
The cover adds approximately 2 cm to the total height of the topper. For example:
This means:
Think of the cover as the finishing layer. It defines the first impression when you lie down, while the latex determines the depth of support and how your body is actually carried.
A few simple guidelines to help you choose:
BIO SUPPORT lets you choose not only the firmness and height of the latex, but also the character of the surface – from a drier, fresher cotton feel to a softer and more luxurious cashmere touch.
BIO SUPPORT is built on the same manufacturing base as our mattresses – natural latex rubber foam with 100% EU certified production. The latex comes from specialised factories in Germany, Belgium and Italy, using Dunlop technology with strict control over every batch.
Key certifications and standards linked to our latex and production:
These are not just logos. They are real tests, audits and control systems behind every latex core that becomes a BIO SUPPORT topper.
OEKO-TEX® Standard 100
Confirms that the material has been tested for a wide range of harmful substances – heavy metals, formaldehyde, pesticides, plasticisers and volatile organic compounds. The standard includes a class that is safe even for babies, which is the strictest category for textiles in direct contact with the skin.
ECO-Institut
An independent German lab that measures emissions (VOC) and residual chemicals. ECO-Institut certification confirms that the latex does not release unwanted substances into normal home air over time and that the material meets strict limits for pollutants.
Hohenstein
A long-established institute in the field of textiles and foam products. Hohenstein acts as an independent tester and supply-chain partner, checking that the declared parameters – such as comfort, durability and hygiene performance – match what is actually delivered in the final product.
Global Recycled Standard (GRS)
GRS relates mainly to the textile components around the foam – outer fabrics, threads and other elements. It confirms that recycled materials are used with clear traceability of origin and that the supply chain follows verified sustainability practices.
Our latex is produced in the EU – Germany, Belgium and Italy – using the Dunlop process:
This is supported by ISO and safety standards:
Siemens monitoring means that the production lines are digitally monitored: temperatures, cycle times, pressures and key process parameters are tracked and recorded.
The result is latex that is not a “lottery” – density, firmness and elasticity stay within clearly defined tolerances, batch after batch.
BIO SUPPORT is designed as a long-term solution, not a temporary fix. For this model we state clearly:
Warranty covers permanent indentations deeper than 12% of the topper height. Smaller impressions are considered normal settling of the material and are not defects.
For stabilisation of the latex, rotate the topper head-to-foot at least 3 times during the first 6 months.
The warranty covers:
The warranty does not cover:
Example – how 12% looks in a real claim
As a guideline for evaluating a potential claim, a defect-level indentation would be approximately:
Smaller impressions are within normal tolerances for natural latex settling and would not be considered a defect in a warranty claim.
For every warranty claim we require a clear photo of the base under the topper (slats, platform or floor), showing that the indentation is not caused by a sagging, uneven or soft surface beneath it. If the base itself is the problem, the claim cannot be accepted as a latex defect.
Natural latex retains its density and elasticity for decades. Compared to memory foam and springs, it:
Under normal conditions, BIO SUPPORT continues to distribute body weight evenly rather than turning into a permanent “hole” where you usually sleep.
Key factors are a stable, ventilated base, regular airing of the bedroom and following the rotation recommendation in the first months.
You have two layers of security:
You place the topper on your mattress, sleep on it in real conditions and do not judge it in a five-minute showroom test. If within 50 nights you feel it is not right for you, you email us and we start the return procedure.
The trial period lets you feel the concept. The warranty gives you confidence that, once you decide to keep BIO SUPPORT, it will stay stable over the years instead of behaving like cheap foam or standard springs.
With every BIO SUPPORT topper you receive 2 Classic latex pillows at no extra cost. You do not need to add them to your order – it is our responsibility to ship them automatically together with your topper.
Each pillow is a Classic latex model in size 40 × 60 × 14 cm, matched to the behaviour of the topper.
What the bonus pillows actually provide
The pillows are a bonus:
We include the pillows as part of one complete sleep concept that we know works in real life. When you choose BIO SUPPORT, you are trusting us to improve your sleep, and we take that seriously – this is why we look at the whole system, not just one layer.
A latex topper on the mattress combined with latex pillows means:
From day one you receive a complete latex sleep set you can rely on. Later, if you wish, you can experiment with other pillow shapes – but you already start from a concept we consider a safe, high-quality solution.
Thanks to its flexibility, moderate thickness and full latex core, this topper can also be used in a futon-style setup – directly on the floor, over a sofa or as a minimalistic sleeping surface.

Important: It is crucial to remove the brown transportation cover with the zip. Do not confuse this with the actual mattress – what you see in the brown non-woven fabric is only for transportation protection. Your mattress is inside this zipped transportation bag.
The mattress might not match the size you purchased if you attempt to install it with the transportation cover. Your mattress will fit the ordered size once you remove the transportation cover and the protective plastic.
Installation: Setting up your mattress can be a heavy task. We recommend having two people for this process. We often joke about this and say: “Carrying and setting up the mattress is 15 minutes of hard work and unwrapping, but then you’ll enjoy a lifetime of comfortable bliss!”
Latex Mattresses: Keep in mind that latex mattresses are quite heavy. Imagine carrying one giant piece of jelly – not so easy on the stairs, right? You can fold your mattress to help with stairs and corners.
We recommend placing the mattress on your bed while it's still in its packaging, THEN removing all packaging materials (1 zipped transport bag and 2 plastic layers). This helps to avoid unnecessary awkward lifting. This process should ideally be undertaken by two people, as it's not easy for one person to do it on their own.

It’s important to distinguish between firmness standards for latex foam and those used for other types of mattresses, whether spring-based or made from any other kind of foam.
You should be aware that, for example, a FIRM rating in latex has very little in common with the comfort level of the same firmness in a spring or memory foam mattress.

In the sea of mattress options out there, a lot of the real expert and engineering value gets drowned out by marketing. Everyone talks about how comfortable their mattresses are, how much support they give – and the word orthopaedic gets thrown around like Coca-Cola.
If you’re reading this and thinking about buying a mattress – even if it’s not from us – no worries. At least you’ll know a few important things and learn how to spot the difference.
1. The “Made Locally” Marketing TrickWe keep seeing labels like Made in the UK, Made in Ireland and other grand marketing claims.
Here’s the truth: There are only four actual latex foam producers in all of Europe – in Belgium, Germany, Bulgaria, and Italy.
Producing latex foam is a complex, skilled technological process. Cutting, assembling and putting the mattress together is something else entirely. Just assembling a mattress does not make you a latex producer. Be careful with this.
No factory using the Dunlop process will ever mix in the Talalay process.
Both use the same latex base, but the moulding and finishing methods are completely different.
A plant producing both at the same time? It doesn’t exist. That’s just another clever marketing trick.
Trying to blend Dunlop and Talalay is another marketing move.
They’ll claim Talalay is softer and more luxurious – but it’s simply not true.
Engineering standards for firmness have nothing to do with the process itself.
Foam density is standardised for all firmness levels.
What some brands do is combine two different firmnesses – and then label the softer one as Talalay.
If someone tries to sell you a mattress with just a few inches of latex on top, then adds other foams or springs underneath, and calls it a latex mattress – that’s misleading. And expensive.
There is nothing better – in terms of quality and comfort – than a 100% natural latex mattress.
Everything else is just marketing. And yes, it’s clever marketing – but marketing nonetheless.
If a mattress is not made of 100% latex, do not accept it as such – even if the label says it is. Always check whether the entire mattress is truly made of 100% latex, or if it’s only the top layer.
If the mattress is made from other materials such as standard foam, memory foam, or any kind of synthetic foam – as well as springs in all their variations, including pocket springs or any other spring technology – then it is a hybrid mattress, not a true latex one.
Springs – no matter the type – cannot provide the same comfort that a resilient latex foam can offer. Foam is foam for a reason. It is more elastic, more fluid, and the adaptability it offers can never be matched by any type of metal.
Furthermore, metal accumulates and retains static electricity, which can affect brain function, cells, and the nervous system. And ultimately, what truly matters is deep, restorative sleep – and to achieve that, we need the cleanest and calmest possible sleep environment.
The purity of the materials in our mattress and bed is essential to our sleep quality.
Another key concern is memory foam and all other foams derived from synthetic petroleum-based materials. The difference here is significant – in terms of density, support, and adaptability.
But the biggest and most critical difference is air ventilation, which is of major importance to comfort. Latex foam is the cleanest, most effective, breathable and ventilated foam, helping regulate temperature and providing true sleeping comfort throughout the night.
The answer is very simple: because it’s breathable.
Latex foam is the most breathable mattress concept in the world. This is due to several key factors:
Now, what does this have to do with being hypoallergenic and antibacterial?
Again, the answer is simple: bacteria, dust mites, and mold love closed, unventilated environments. They thrive in places where air doesn’t move and moisture accumulates.
That’s exactly where our breathable system fights back – by creating a space where these microorganisms simply can’t survive.
As you may already know – or have learned from us – latex foam is one of the most breathable, natural and welcoming materials for healthy sleep.
Temperature comfort is often used in mass-market advertising in a misleading way. But let’s be clear – no mattress, no matter what it’s made of, functions as an air conditioner. The only temperature balance a mattress can realistically support is the one between your body and the environment of your bedroom. And this is exactly where latex excels beyond all other materials.
Latex mattresses feature natural ventilation through vertical air channels and an open-cell structure, allowing continuous airflow. This means the risk of overheating is virtually eliminated – unlike with memory foam and other petroleum-based foams.
Latex doesn’t heat or cool on its own – it simply adapts to the temperature of your body and the room.
Remember: the temperature of any mattress is influenced by two main factors:
What a truly breathable and well-designed mattress does is synchronise these two temperatures. Nothing more – but nothing less either. And this synchronisation is only possible when the mattress has air channels and a porous, ventilated structure.
Scientific fact: just before falling asleep, the human body naturally lowers its temperature by about 0.5 to 1°C. A latex mattress, thanks to its breathability, supports this biological process, making it easier to fall asleep and promoting deeper rest.
Sleep quality itself depends heavily on proper airflow – and this is not a marketing claim, but a real physiological factor that latex mattresses deliver by design.
With a latex mattress, you can be sure of one thing:
Consistent temperature comfort. No overheating. Ever.
The bed frame plays a key role in supporting the mattress, especially in terms of ventilation.
It does not provide comfort directly – that’s the role of the mattress itself.
If someone claims that the frame will make your mattress feel more comfortable, it’s likely a sign that the mattress itself isn’t performing as it should.
True comfort comes from the mattress core – not from what lies beneath it.
⸻
⸻
Any bed frame is better than none, as it enables ventilation and provides basic support.
However, some frames are simply better choices, particularly when paired with responsive, high-elasticity materials like latex.
There is no such thing as an “unsuitable frame”, but there are more stable, durable and supportive options that will better protect the mattress and enhance its lifespan.
⸻
Aside from standard slatted frames, there are other practical and effective solutions:
⸻
Most bed frames or ready-made bases come with slatted foundations included – which is great.
But if those slats are thicker and straight, that’s even better.
A quality slatted frame improves long-term durability and reduces the chance of mattress deformation.
⸻
Yes, you can.
A latex mattress can be placed directly on a flat surface. However, this setup won’t allow for proper ventilation, which is one of latex’s key strengths.
⸻
The bed frame is an important part of your sleep system – not for comfort, but for structure and function.
Choose a quality, well-constructed frame to ensure your mattress performs at its best and lasts longer. This is especially important with elastic, breathable mattresses like latex.
